Becoming a mum is one of the most wonderful things in a woman’s life, yet finding the right nutritional balance may prove challenging. Motherhood is demanding and time to look after yourself will be limited once your little creature shows up.

However, taking care of your body during this time is not an indulgence, it’s a necessity. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, you may find your body, mood and appetite changing in many (often unexpected) ways. That’s why it’s so important to nourish your body during this time.

This plan is ideal for pregnant or breastfeeding women and is a great basis for enjoying a healthy pregnancy and beyond. Together we will design a plan that will give you and your baby the best possible start.

 

Who is it for?

This plan is ideal if:

  • you are pregnant and want to improve the quality of your diet and reduce the risk of possible complications
  • you are breastfeeding and want to support yourself and your baby during this demanding period

 

What you get:

  • Access to a secure, GDPR compliant telehealth platform that is available on your browser or through an app that you can download to your mobile or tablet.
  • One 60-minute online consultation.
  • A comprehensive nutritional assessment to see where you are now and feedback on your current nutritional health.
  • Depending on your own particular lifestyle, health history and pregnancy stage (pre or postnatal), you will receive an individual action plan based on your needs, preferences and lifestyle.
  • Weekly feedback.
  • Online food and mood/symptom journals (if we decide these can be helpful to you).
  • Continuous personalised support through direct messaging.

 

How long does the plan last and how much does it cost?

The plan costs £150/€175 per month (4 weeks) and includes a 60-min online session, along with support throughout the 4 weeks. Towards the end, we’ll discuss your options: you can renew the same plan, switch to a less intensive approach, or stop altogether. Reviewing this monthly allows us to assess your progress and ensure we proceed in the way that best meets your needs.

 

How it Works

Step 1: I’ll give you access to the telehealth platform through which you will complete the assessment form; this will help me learn about your current health, the challenges you face, and the goals you want to achieve. Everything is online, so you don’t need to print or scan documents.

Step 2: During our initial 60-minute consultation, we’ll have an in-depth discussion about your history, needs, and goals. In this session, we may also go through an online presentation to review key recommendations linking to your perinatal status (pregnancy / lactation).

Step 3: I’ll send your personalised action plan, along with supporting documents and full guidance on how to successfully implement the advice into your lifestyle. You also get detailed advice on how to keep your online food and lifestyle journals (if needed).

Step 4: Each week, you’ll be asked to complete a short questionnaire to record your progress, struggles and successes. If we decide food diaries are helpful to you, I will review them and provide additional support when you need it.

Step 5: If you renew this plan, you will get a 60-minute follow-up consultation every month to chat through your progress, struggles and successes. During follow-up consultations, we’ll revisit your goals and update the plan and resources as needed. I use several behaviour change tools and techniques and relevant presentations to keep you motivated and focused on your goals; this makes the whole process smoother.
