Making sure your child is eating a nutritious, balanced diet isn’t always easy. But what’s more important is to support your little one develop a healthy relationship with food and their body.
As a registered dietitian and mother of two, who has helped many families on this matter for many years, I understand perfectly the worries and pressures you face. That’s why I use a gentle, non-diet approach to help children. This is all about healthy eating and building good habits for life – not about feeling restricted or deprived.
Through this plan, I’ll give you all the information you need, while answering your questions and chatting through your concerns. Together we’ll create a plan of action to help the whole family eat healthily and build a strong foundation for your child’s future wellbeing.
All the advice will be based on your child’s preferences –so there will be no food fads or unfamiliar ingredients to worry about.
I’ll help you take the battles out of food so the whole family can build healthy habits and enjoy tasty, nourishing food together.

How long does the plan last?
The plan costs £150/€175 per month (4 weeks) and includes a 60-min online session and support through online chat (more details below). Towards the end, we’ll discuss your options: you can renew the same plan, switch to a less intensive approach, or stop altogether. Reviewing this monthly allows us to assess your child’s progress and ensure we proceed in the way that best meets your family’s needs.
How it Works
Step 1: I’ll give you access to the telehealth platform through which you will complete the assessment form; this will help me learn about your child’s current health, the challenges you face, and the goals you want to achieve. Everything is online, so you don’t need to print or scan documents.
Step 2: During our initial 60-min consultation, we’ll review your child’s history and needs. We’ll also discuss goals and expectations as we set out a personalised action plan. Depending on your child’s age, we may ask them to join us for this. For adolescents, there is the option to be seen alone for part of the session (with parental consent).
Step 3: You’ll receive the agreed action plan for your child, along with supporting documents and full guidance on how to successfully implement the advice into your family’s lifestyle.
Step 4: If you renew this plan, you get a 60-minute follow-up consultation every month to chat through your child’s struggles and successes. During follow-up consultations, we’ll revisit your goals and update the resources as needed. I use several behaviour change tools and techniques and relevant presentations to keep you motivated and focused on your goals; this makes the whole process smoother and easy to follow. If you have questions between consultations, you can use the telehealth platform direct messaging or send me an email.
Maria was recommended to us by our paediatrician who was concerned about Anna’s weight gain. Maria’s approach was the first thing I liked. She was interested in getting the child involved and wanted to understand her thoughts and fears, always in a discreet way. Anna was soon on board and the ideas Maria has given us made the process much easier than we thought. Anna is now a healthy and happy adolescent and cooks Maria’s delicious recipes!
