No Bake Honey and Oat bars
Looking for a healthy snack to curb those afternoon sugar cravings? These no-bake oat bars are packed with nutrients and flavour. They’re easy to make and perfect for a quick energy boost!
Ingredients:
– 1.5 cups rolled oats (toast them for extra flavor)
– 4 tbsp honey
– 4 tbsp peanut butter
– 2 tbsp dried cranberries
– 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
– 50g roasted almonds, chopped
– 50g chocolate chips (optional)
Method:
1. In a saucepan, heat the honey and peanut butter until smooth.
2. Remove from heat and slowly stir in the oats.
3. Add the cranberries, sunflower seeds, almonds, and chocolate chips. Mix everything well.
4. Line a small baking tray with plastic wrap, making sure it covers the base and sides.
5. Press the mixture firmly into the tray, ensuring an even thickness.
6. Freeze for 30 minutes.
7. Remove the mixture from the tray using the plastic wrap and cut into 40g portions.
